WHAT WE STAND FOR

The Alliance believes that everyone has the right to be a full citizen and should:

  • be asked about their needs and wishes and take part in making decisions which affect their lives
  • be given the chance to be included in education, employment, recreation and other areas of normal live.
  • be treated with dignity and respect, having the same human rights as anyone else
  • have the help they need to live their chosen lives in the area they choose
  • be supported towards the greatest possible independence
