A Fairer Scotland For Disabled People

A Fairer Scotland for Disabled People is the Scottish Government’s 5-year delivery plan to, till 2021, for the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It has five long-term ambitions and more than 90 actions aimed at transforming the lives of disabled people in Scotland and ensuring that their human rights are realised.

The five areas are as follows:

1. Support services that meet disabled people’s needs

2. Decent incomes and fairer working lives

3. Places that are accessible to everyone

4. Protected rights

5. Active participation
