Forth Valley Stronger Together‘We are a group of adults with learning disabilities from across the Forth Valley areas of Stirling, Falkirk and Clackmannanshire. We meet every month at the Raploch Community Campus on Drip Road in Stirling to talk about politics and learn how we can work to make things better for ourselves and the wider learning disabled community in Forth Valley because we believe we are stronger when we work together.’
We are Forth Valley Stronger Together group.
The group meets on the first Friday of every month at the Raploch Community Campus, Drip Road, Stirling
The meetings begin at 10 am and finish at 12 noon and are completely free and open to all adults with learning disabilities to attend. Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided.
We hold hustings events to ask questions to the people who want to be our MPs, MSPs or Councillors to make sure we get all the information we need to help us decide who will get our vote.
In 2016, the group put together a booklet on how to make bus travel better for people with learning disabilities in Forth Valley. This year the group are looking at whether all their hard work on improving bus travel has worked with this survey.
If you live in the Forth Valley area why not fill in the survey and send it back to the Forth Valley Stronger Together group at LDAS, Thorn House, 5 Rose Street, Edinburgh EH2 2PR by the end of January 2018.
